ActionScript 3 Game Development: From Timeline to Good Design with Mike Welsh of Newgrounds.com

Speaker Bio:
Mike Welsh is an ActionScript developer currently working for Newgrounds.com, the web's original Flash portal. Mike contributed to Castle Crashers, the best-selling XBox Live Arcade game. Always exploring new technologies, he most recently ported Doom to Flash using Adobe Alchemy. ActionScript 3.0 Game Development: From Timeline to Good Design

Are your games riddled with ugly timeline code? In this talk aimed at beginner to intermediate developers, you will learn the secrets to game development in ActionScript 3. We will discuss the principles object-oriented programming and how they can apply to games. Discover workarounds to specific AS3 gotchas using many practical examples.
