Want to know how to use your existing Flex and/or Flash skills to build applications for the desktop using Adobe AIR? In this presentation we'll look at what AIR is and is not, and we'll look at the key features of AIR. Many Upcoming Flash/Flex Related Events For Coming Weeks and Months

Here is a quick summary of a number of local, national and international events and conferences related to Flash, Flex and AIR that are coming in the next few weeks and months. If you know of any others, please drop us a note or leave a comment.

There is also one I'm looking for feedback on:

The <head> Conference (previously known as Singularity until recently) - Online attend from anywhere - October 24-26, 2008 - http://www.headconference.com/

I am currently considering getting a place together for at least one of the days, where we can be a "hub" venue for folks wanting to attend the conference, but also socialize a bit.

More info about becoming a hub is here: http://www.headconference.com/hubs/

Would anyone be interested in a one day Hub event? There is a cost associated with attending even virtually as a hub, and we might need to charge a litle above and beyond to cover the venue and refreshments - but it would allow you to at least attend in the presence of other humans. Please leave a comment or drop us a note if this sounds interesting, and based on feedback we will consider putting together a hub.
